Join us at McMenamins Edgefield east of Portland on Wednesday, September 20th for a day of networking, education, and connection at our 4th Annual Sip and Swing. The theme of our summer event is Inspire!
We are happy to have Ken Nwadike Jr joining us as our keynote speaker. Ken is a documentary filmmaker, motivational speaker, and peace activist popularly known as the "Free Hugs Guy." Ken is the founder of the Free Hugs Project, which gained popularity as Nwadike made major news headlines for his peacekeeping efforts and de-escalation of violence during protests, riots, and political rallies. Ken was featured in Google's 2016 Year in Search video as a highlight among some of the year's most defining moments and he has made many appearances on news programs, including CNN, USA Today, Good Morning Britain, and BBC News.
We will also be playing a fun game with some good spirited Corporate friends, while we look into Generational Diversity within Mobility.
The day will end with choosing either our fun Pub Golf or Geeks who Drink Pub Trivia followed by the afterparty out in the meadow. You don't want to miss this fun filled day.
We welcome you to join the PRC board in wearing one of Ken's "Free Hugs" "Huglife" or other shirt from his collection where each shirt purchase helps provide HUGS Hygiene Kits for the homeless. Or any another shirt that inspires you from a volunteer organization, charity, or cause you support.
