Serving on the PRC Board is your chance to contribute to the vision of growth of PRC within our mobility community. PRC was founded in 2005 and it has been our volunteer board members whose dedication to providing timely education, networking, charitable involvement along with our industry leading sense of community that has been the heart and soul of our organization.
As outlined in our PRC By-Laws every 2 years the officers of the organization shall be elected by the Board of Directors, from its own Member's nominations. Each member in good standing has the right to nominate themselves and others for the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors shall serve as the elected legislative and governing body charged with directing the affairs of the PRC in behalf of the general membership.
To be eligible as a Board Member, an individual must be a PRC member in good standing, has been a member of PRC for two consecutive years preceding nomination, and who at the time of selection meets the membership requirements as referenced in Article II – Membership Section 2 – Categories. To be eligible to continue serving as a Board Member, the Board Member must not miss two consecutive Board meetings without a valid excuse. Board meetings will be held monthly and be primarily virtual. We do ask that if a board meeting is scheduled in person you make reasonable attempts to attend in person.
A special committee to be called the Nomination Committee, will be appointed by PRC consisting of three members in good standing. These Nomination Committee members will serve to vet the nominations submitted, ensuring they meet the qualifications and to tally the Board Member votes.
